What this integration enables
The DiningCity integration connects DiningCity with FRANK, allowing reservations made via DiningCity to automatically appear in FRANK.
Availability is fully controlled by you, based on the shifts and channels you configure in FRANK.
This means:
Reservations from DiningCity are processed automatically
Your availability stays accurate and up to date
You decide when and how your restaurant can be booked via DiningCity
Before you start
Before activating the integration, make sure:
You have an active Dinestar (previously DiningCity) account
You have access to FRANK with admin permissions
Your shifts are correctly set up in FRANK
How the integration works
The integration uses your FRANK shifts to determine when DiningCity is allowed to accept reservations. You can manage this in two ways:
Option 1: Use existing shifts
You can enable DiningCity as a channel on one or more of your existing shifts.
Why choose this option?
Availability is automatically updated when you change your regular shifts
Less maintenance
Option 2: Create dedicated DiningCity ticket
You can create a separate ticket with a shifts specifically for DiningCity reservations.
Why choose this option?
More control over when DiningCity is bookable
You can disable the FRANK widget for these shifts
Activating the integration
Follow the steps below to activate the DiningCity integration:
Step 1: Activate DiningCity in FRANK
Go to Manage → Setup → Integrations
Find DiningCity
Click Activate
Step 2: Configure your shifts
Go to Manage → Shifts
Choose one of the following:
Enable DiningCity as a channel on existing shifts
Or create new shifts specifically for DiningCity
Make sure the settings reflect when DiningCity is allowed to accept reservations
Step 3: Confirm activation with DiningCity
To complete the integration, DiningCity needs to activate the connection on their side.

Include your FRANK Restaurant ID
