Set a default Ticket for manual reservations

Automatically select the right ticket when you manually create a reservation in the reservation overview

What is a default ticket?

When you manually create a reservation, FRANK automatically selects a Ticket for you. This is useful because it also immediately fills in:

  • the first available time

  • the most suitable table

This speeds up the reservation process and reduces manual work.

However, some restaurants don’t use the 'default' ticket or prefer a different ticket for manual reservations. In that case, you would still need to manually select another ticket every time.

To avoid this, you can choose which ticket should be used as the default ticket when adding a reservation manually through the reservation overview.

How to set a default ticket for manual reservations

  1. Go to Manage β†’ Setup β†’ General

  2. Scroll to the Reservations section

  3. Find Override default ticket

  4. Select the ticket you want FRANK to automatically use when you create a reservation manually

From now on, this ticket will be preselected when adding a reservation in Workspace.
