Professional Stage Activity & Inactivity Policy

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Participation in the Professional Stage at Funded Futures Family (FFF) requires ongoing activity, timely communication, and operational readiness. This policy explains how activity is evaluated, what may be considered inactivity, and the potential consequences of failing to remain engaged during the Professional Stage.

This policy applies to all Professional Stage participants, including Pro Accounts and Live Accounts.

Overview

The Professional Stage is designed for traders operating under professional standards. Continued participation requires both trading activity and active engagement with the Live Desk throughout onboarding, transition, and active trading phases.

Activity Definition

A trader is considered active when they demonstrate both trading activity and timely communication with the Live Desk.

Activity may include, but is not limited to:

  • Executed trades on an active Pro or Live Account

  • Timely responses to official Live Desk emails

  • Proactive communication notifying the Live Desk of temporary unavailability

Activity requirements apply once a trader enters the Professional Stage, including during onboarding and account setup phases.

Inactivity Definition

A trader may be considered inactive based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to:

  • Extended periods without trading activity

  • Failure to respond to official Live Desk communications

  • Failure to complete required onboarding or transition steps

  • Failure to maintain required market data on a Live Account

  • Extended silence during account creation, onboarding, or transition processes

Inactivity determinations are not based on a single fixed metric and are evaluated holistically at the discretion of the Live Desk.

Communication Expectations

Timely communication is a mandatory requirement of the Professional Stage.

Official communication is handled via email through the Live Desk. Traders are expected to respond to onboarding, transition, and operational emails within required timeframes.

Intercom tickets may be used for support purposes but do not replace required email responses unless explicitly approved.

Failure to respond to Live Desk communications may be treated as inactivity, even if no account has yet been fully activated.

Temporary Unavailability

FFF recognizes that traders may occasionally be unable to trade due to travel, personal matters, or other valid reasons.

In such cases:

  • Traders must proactively notify the Live Desk by email

  • Temporary inactivity may be approved at the discretion of the Live Desk

Ongoing silence without communication may still be treated as inactivity.

Pro Account Inactivity

Inactivity during the Pro Account stage may result in:

  • Cancellation of progression to a Live Account

  • Permanent closure of the Pro Account

  • Loss of eligibility within the Professional Stage

The Pro Account is a transitional stage and is not intended to remain idle.

Live Account Inactivity

Live Accounts are subject to stricter standards.

Inactivity on a Live Account may result in immediate account closure, including but not limited to cases involving:

  • Extended lack of trading activity

  • Failure to respond to Live Desk communications

  • Failure to maintain required market data subscriptions

  • Operational non-compliance

No prior warning is required before Live Account closure.

Market Data Responsibility (Live Accounts)

Live Account traders are responsible for selecting, activating, and maintaining required market data.

Failure to activate or pay for required data, allowing subscriptions to lapse, or repeated data-related operational issues may result in Live Account closure at the discretion of the Live Desk.

Onboarding Delays and Missed Deadlines

During Professional Stage onboarding, traders are expected to complete all required steps promptly.

Missed deadlines, incomplete documentation, or extended non-response may result in loss of placement. Delays caused by lack of engagement are subject to internal prioritization and may be treated as inactivity

Live Desk Discretion

All activity and inactivity determinations are handled at the sole discretion of the Live Desk.

FFF reserves the right to:

  • Close Pro or Live Accounts due to inactivity

  • Cancel transitions during onboarding or processing

  • Extend timelines in justified cases

  • Close accounts without prior notice when operational integrity or risk controls require it

Important Notes

  • The Professional Stage requires active engagement

  • Inactivity may result in permanent account closure

  • Communication is as important as trading activity

  • No guaranteed timelines apply during periods of inactivity

  • All decisions are final and subject to Live Desk review

A Professional Expectation

The Professional Stage is designed for traders prepared to operate consistently and professionally. Active participation, timely communication, and operational readiness are required to maintain eligibility and account status.
