Checking Bola Settings After a Computer Update

What Settings to check after a computer, Chrome, or Fuse update

When your computer, Chrome, or Fuse have had an update sometimes that can reset important settings for the functionality of Bola. You will need to check the following settings:

  • Clear your cache

  • Check the Bola chrome extension

  • Check the Computer microphone settings

  • Check Chrome's microphone settings

Clear your cache:

  1. Click the three dots on the far right corner of your Chrome browser window > find History in the menu > Select the first option that comes up in the new menu also titled History:

  1. Select Delete Browsing Data from the menu on the left hand side:

  1. Uncheck the first two options so only Cached Images and Files is selected:

  1. Click the Delete Data button

Check the Bola Extension:

  1. Click the three dots on the far right corner of your Chrome browser window > find Extensions in the menu > Select Manage Extensions:

  2. If you don't see the Bola Extension on the main screen you can search in the search bar for Bola:

    1. If Bola does not show up on the list, Reinstall Bola

    2. If Bola shows an error, Uninstall and Reinstall the Chrome Extension

    3. If you see Bola there as it shows above move to next step

Check the Computer Microphone Settings

  1. Search for "settings" in your computer search bar > Click on the gear icon

  2. Click on System > Sound

    1. Make sure your mic is still select in the input section:

  1. In your Chrome window open Curve

  2. Click on the icon on the lefthand side of the search bar

    1. You will either see a settings icon or a microphone icon:

    2. Make sure the microphone is toggled on and allowed

If you have checked all of the settings above and you are still having issues contact your Bola support person.
