πŸ“‹ Before You Start

Our team will confirm a few details before enabling 2-Way Sync:

  • βœ… You’ve reviewed the 2-Way Sync vs. 1-Way Sync behavior guide

  • βœ… How many Company Offices and meeting rooms you’d like synced

  • βœ… Your preferred sync timeframe (recommended: 0 days past + 60–90 days future)

πŸ› οΈ Setup Process

  1. First, connect your Google Calendar with 1-Way Sync.

  2. Reach out to your Gable Account Manager or email support@gable.to.

  3. Our team will enable 2-Way Sync after reviewing your setup and confirming starting settings.

⚠️ Important: 2-Way Sync can only be enabled by the Gable team. This is not a self-serve feature.

βš™οΈ Settings

When 2-Way Sync is enabled, you’ll see several options you can customize:

πŸ“₯ Import bookings from Calendar to Gable

Automatically bring bookings created in Google Calendar into Gable.

πŸ‘₯ Onboard new users and import their booking

If someone who isn’t yet a Gable user is added to a Google Calendar booking:

  • Main guest – Creates a Gable profile for the main organizer.

  • Invitees – Creates Gable profiles for invited guests.

πŸ”• Suppress Gable notifications

If enabled, only Google Calendar sends booking notifications β€” avoiding duplicate notifications from Gable.

⏳ Sync data timeframe

Decide how far back and forward events should sync:

  • Days in the past β†’ Recommended: 0

  • Days in the future β†’ Recommended: 60–90

For example, setting it to 0 and 90 means no past events are synced, but future events up to 90 days will be.
