GableAI

An overview of Gable's AI-powered workspace assistant

Written by Madeline Frank

GableAI is an AI-powered assistant built directly into the Gable platform. It lets you ask natural-language questions about your workspace — bookings, space utilization, workforce patterns — and get instant, data-driven answers.

Think of it as a conversational analytics layer on top of your workspace data. Instead of exporting reports or building dashboards, you simply ask a question and get a clear response in seconds.

⚙️ How It Works

When you submit a question, GableAI follows four steps:

  1. Intent Validation — Your question is checked to make sure it's safe, relevant, and within scope.

  2. Data Retrieval — The system pulls the relevant data from Gable's database, scoped to your organization.

  3. Analysis — A logic engine processes the data to calculate the answer.

  4. Response — The result is formatted into text, a table, or a chart and returned to you.

🚀 How to Use It

To get started, look for the GableAI button in the top-right corner of your Gable dashboard — it's the purple robot icon. Click it to open the chat, type your question, and GableAI will respond with an answer right away.

💬 What Can You Ask?

GableAI answers questions about your organization's workspace activity. A few examples:

  • "How many desks were booked last week?"

  • "Which floors have the lowest utilization this month?"

  • "What are the peak attendance days for the engineering team?"

  • "Which meeting rooms are most popular on Tuesdays?"

📌 Key Things to Know

  • Read-only and advisory — GableAI never takes actions on your behalf.

  • Scoped to your data — You only see information you're authorized to view.

  • No model training on your data — Your data is never used to train or fine-tune AI models.

  • Powered by Google Gemini — Accessed via an enterprise API with strict data protections.

  • Can be disabled at any time at the organization level.
