Hosts: How can I add my OfficeRnD integration?

Here we will talk about the OfficeRnD integration with Gable and walk through adding it to your listings to enable auto-approval.

Step One: Create an app in OfficeRnd and enter the “Client ID” and “Client Secret”

  • In OfficeRnD go to Settings > Developer Tools > Add Application

  • Enter ‘Gable’ as the name and check ‘Read’ and ‘Write’ permissions and "Add" the

    application:

Click ‘View’ next to the application and you will see your Client ID and Client Secret. You will need to save this and input it into the Gable app later.

Step Three: Create a new company and “member” for all the bookings made by Gable

All the bookings made by Gable will be assigned to this member and Gable will not create new members or new companies.

In OfficeRnD go to Community > Add Company > Add (we recommend “Gable Reservations” so you know they’re Gable bookings).

In OfficeRnD go to the new created Company Community > Companies > Gable Reservations > Add Member|

Step Four: Enter the “Admin Site” name

In OfficeRnD go to Settings > My Account > Admin Site

Step Five: Add the key information into the Gable app

  • Go to Profile > Integrations > OfficeRnD > Connect

  • Fill in the “Client ID”, “Client Secret”, “Company Name”, “Member Name”, “Admin

    Site” and Submit.

Step Six: Map the resources on Gable to the OfficeRnD resources

Under the calendar sections of your listings, click edit, and you will see the space to map the location and resources as shown below

Step Seven: Turn on auto-approval

Make sure to turn on auto-approval to receive the full benefits of the integration. You can find detailed instructions here on how to do this.

Important Notes

  • Resources. By default only Meeting rooms and Hot desks/Common Space can be added to Gable or be linked to an existing calendar.

  • If you need to connect a Custom Resource type, please contact our Workspace Partnerships team at partners@trygable.com and they can map this to a Meeting Room or a Private Office

  • Used resource types should be "Bookable" (otherwise they will be unavailable in Gable)

  • Pricing, fees, and payouts. All pricing settings and payouts will be set on Gable, none of the settings in OfficeRnD will be reflected in Gable or will be read by Gable

  • Bookings

    • Bookings will be added to OfficeRnD once the booking is confirmed on Gable

    • (By auto-approval settings or by manual host approval)

    • All bookings will be made for the same member (the one from the account setup)

    • All bookings are set as free and their source is set to "Gable Reservation"

    • Cancellation -

      • Once the booking is confirmed on Gable and appears on OfficeRnD's calendar, you should not make any changes to the created booking (it will not reflect on Gable, and the booking will remain confirmed)

      • Once the guest cancels the booking on Gable, the booking will be marked as canceled in OfficeRnD

Onboarding a new listing:

  • Go to Manage Listings > Add a new space > OfficeRnD

  • Look for the location you would like to add

  • Uncheck the resources you don't want to add to Gable

  • Click Add

  • Follow the wizard to add information about the space

Link/Unlink existing space to resource's calendar on Office RnD

  • Go to Manage Listing

  • Click edit on the location

  • Click edit on the Integration/Calendar section

  • Go to the OfficeRnD tab

  • Connect the Gable's Location to the OfficeRnD's Location

  • Connect the desired space to the calendar by the Office RnD's resource
