What Does This Help Article Cover?

  • In this article, we’ll explain how you can enable auto-approval for your spaces listed on the Gable platform.

How do I enable auto-approval on my Gable listings?

  • To start, navigate to your "Manage listings" tab, or click here.

  • Find the location you wish to turn on auto-approval for and click on the three dots associated with that listing then "Edit":

  • Select the listing you wish to turn on auto-approval for from the spaces listed at the top:

  • Scroll down to "Settings", and click "Edit":

  • Toggle on the auto-approval button, and click "Save":

Reminder: For meeting rooms and private offices, you will need to have a current calendar integration in place for this process to work.

  • Under the "Common space" tab settings, you will see the options to enable auto-approval and it's respective settings:

Be sure to set the number of seats you wish to be auto-approved based on the total number of seats that are available.

What do the settings mean?

  • Available Seats: The total number of seats available within the space.

  • Booking Cutoff Time: The time until a guest can reserve the space.

    • Pro Tip: We recommend setting this to "3:00 PM day of the booking". Most guests are looking to book a space the morning of the booking and this allows ample time for them to find a space and book.

  • Enable automatic approval for booking requests: When toggled on, Gable will automatically approve a booking request made under this common space without prompting for manual approval from the on-site team. Please note: you will still receive confirmation emails as usual notifying you of the booking.

  • Max number of auto approved seats per day: This is the number of seats that will be set to auto approve.

In the example above, there are 10 total seats available in the common space. 5 of those seats will be auto-approved, the remaining 5 seats will be requested to book through the usual email and manual approval flow.
