Keeping your inventory up to date is crucial for smooth operations. This guide will walk you through how to sync your account with Shopify, ensuring your product information stays accurate and up to date.

Syncing your Shopify account can be done in a few simple steps, and we’ve outlined everything you need to know below.

Where to Sync Your Account

You can initiate a sync from multiple locations within your account:

  • From the Dashboard: You can find the sync option in the top right corner.

  • From the Inventory Table: You can the sync button in the top right corner.

  • From Settings: Navigate to Settings > General and you can find it to the right of the page near the center..

Running the Sync Process

Once you click the sync button, the process will begin automatically. The duration of the sync depends on the number of variants in your Shopify account:

  • Small inventory count: The sync should be completed within 5 to 30 minutes.

  • High variant count: The process can take anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes or longer, depending on various factors like time of day and connection with Shopify.

Note: if an error occurs, give it 5-10 minutes before retrying the sync. If the error persists reach out to the team over chat or email.

Confirming the Sync

After initiating the sync:

  • A confirmation should appear once the sync is complete.

  • If you don’t see confirmation right away, give it some time—refresh your page or log back in after 30 minutes to an hour.

  • If the inventory is still incorrect even after waiting, try refreshing your browser or logging out and back in.

What to Do If the Sync Doesn’t Work

If your inventory is still incorrect after following the steps above and waiting an appropriate amount of time:

  • Try refreshing your page or logging out and back in.

  • If the issue persists for more than one to two hours, reach out to support for assistance.
