Importing your purchase orders into Genie is a straightforward process that ensures your inventory stays up to date. By following this guide, you’ll be able to seamlessly transfer your existing purchase orders into our platform, allowing for efficient inventory management.
Managing purchase orders manually can be time-consuming and error-prone. With Genie, you can quickly import your purchase orders, and using our AI and OCR technology we will extract key details automatically.
Note: While most of this process is automated our team still manually reviews and approves them before they are pushed to your account. This process can take up to 48 hours depending on the order and time of day.
Below are some quick steps to help you import your purchase orders with ease.
1. Navigate to the Purchase Orders Tab
Start by logging into your Genie account. Once logged in, locate the Purchase Orders tab in the navigation bar and click on it. This will bring you to the section where all your purchase orders are managed.
2. Click on the Import Button
To begin the import process, click on the Import button at the top of the page. This will open a prompt allowing you to select the files you want to import.
3. Select Your Purchase Orders
Choose the purchase order files you want to import into Genie. We accept multiple file formats, but CSV, spreadsheets, and PDFs work best for a smooth import process.
4. Upload and Process Your Files
After selecting your files, click Import again to begin processing. Genie’s AI and OCR technology will extract all relevant information from your purchase orders, including product details, costs, prices, and dates.
5. Review and Approval
The processing time can vary between a few minutes and up to 48 hours, depending on the complexity of the data. To ensure accuracy, every purchase order undergoes a final human review before being pushed into Genie.
