This tutorial will guide you through the process of excluding and re-including products in Genie for inventory management and analytics.

Excluding Products

Step 1: Select the products you'd like to exclude and, using the actions dropdown, click on "Exclude products."

Note: Exclusion will occur on a product level and exclude all variants that are associated with the product being excluded.

This will trigger a popup letting you know the details of excluding this product, and where to reinclude them.

Excluded products won't appear in the inventory tab and won't influence analytics, similar to how deleted photos backed up in the cloud no longer take up space on the device.

Re-including Products

Sometimes, a product might need to be re-included, for instance, if it was out of stock or discontinued but is now back in stock.

Step 1: Navigate to the Excluded Products tab in your settings and select the product to re-include from the list.

Step 2: Click the undo arrow to remove the product from the excluded list.

The product will now appear in the inventory list and be included in analytics.
