Customer Questions

You can add custom questions to collect additional information from the participants, such as emergency contact, allergies, known medical conditions and so on.

  1. To get started head over to Waivers > Customer Questions (https://resort.edgeauditor.com/customer_questions) and select the blue ‘New Customer Question’ button at the top right of the page.

  2. The first box ‘Question’ is where you input the specific question for the guest to answer.

  3. Check the ‘Required’ box if an answer is mandatory. The guest will see a red asterisk displayed next to the question if it is mandatory.

  4. The ‘Question type’ box has several options:

    • Radio > Provides a toggle-bar, like an on/off switch so guest can choose if something is true or false

    • Checkbox > Provides boxes to be checked; supports selecting multiple answer options

    • Select > A dropdown selection; only a single answer can be selected

    • Text > Provides an empty textbox

    • Height > Provides a pre-determined dropdown selection box to choose their height

    • Weight > Provides a textbox with only numbers accepted and a selection box to choose LBS or KG.

    • Skier Type > Provides 3 options (Type I, Type II & Type III) with a description of each

  5. Checking the ‘Rental’ box option is required for Height, Weight and Skier Type question options.

  6. If your question type is ‘Select’ you can choose to enable alphabetical sorting which will sort the answer options alphabetically even if they are not added in that order.

  7. Next, depending on the type of question you chose, you may see an ‘Options’ field, this is where you will enter any optional answers the customer can choose from

  8. The ‘Waiver’ drop-down selection is where you will choose which waiver this question will be displayed on.

  9. Finally, you can check the ‘Include question in CSV export’ if this is a question you want to appear in the Waiver data export.

  10. Click the ‘Save button and repeat this process for any additional questions you want to add to a waiver.
