Add an Individual Client

In the video tutorial below, we'll cover the steps to add a new individual client.

Steps to Create an Individual Client:

1. From your home screen click "Clients"

2. Click "New Client"

3. Click "Individual Client"

4. Enter, legal name, phone number and email address for the client you are adding.

5. Click "Next" when you are done.

Tip: Tip! After clicking next you are going to have the option to invite your client to create their free account. If you toggle from "No" to "Yes" you will be able to send the invitation. You can keep it toggled at "No" and choose to send the invitation at a later time.

6. Toggle from "No" to "Yes".

7. Write your client an email inviting them to create their GIC account. If you have created a template you can apply one here.

8. Click "Done" when you have finished writing your email.

9. You have now created your client. Click on their name to open their client profile.

Tip: Tip! Your client's profile is where you will create Exclusive Right to Buy or Sell documents. For buyer documents make sure you are selecting the "Buyer Documents tab", for seller documents, select "Seller Documents".

10. Click "Buyer Documents"

11. Click "Add" to select any buyer document to add to the client profile.

12. When you are ready to start a transaction, click "Create Transaction with Client".

Tip: Tip! You can always resend the invitation email to your client at any point but clicking "Resend Invite".

13. Click "Resend Invite"
