Page Overview

Gain a high-level overview of all Jobs in the system with the Jobs Board Page, ensuring you can effectively track each Job and prevent essential processes, like warranty filings, from slipping through the cracks.

There are three different views for viewing your Jobs: Board, Map, and List. The default view is the Board view.

In the top header you can find the Saved Job Views selector. The jobs board allows you to set filters and save those into a view that you can easily return to later. By default, "All Jobs" will be selected.

At the top of the main content area you can find the Search, Filter, and View bar.

The type of jobs that you see in the current view are controlled by the "Pipeline" filter. Pipelines are a way to organize job by department or workflow, such as Maintenance, Service, Sales, and Installs.

You can search for jobs by account name, address, and job type, and job number.

Use the Advanced Filters to view jobs by a specific set of criteria, such as type, next appointment, assigned technicians, and tags. Once the filters are applied, save it as a view to quickly reference later.

The view can further be customized using the Display settings. Choose the time horizon for showing completed jobs, column properties for invoice and estimate totals, and the job card properties, such as Job Type, Location, and Account Name.

Finally, access the Job Pipeline settings by clicking the Settings button, where you can add new Pipelines or modify existing ones to update names or statuses.

ℹ️ Note that you'll only be able to view the Job Pipeline Settings if you have the user access permissions to do. Speak to your admin to request access!

Board View

The default view is the Board view, which is a Kan Ban style board, where each column represents a job status. The job statuses are configured to the needs of each Pipeline (which again can be created by job department or workflow, such as Maintenance, Service, Sales, and Install).

Jobs can be moved to a different status via drag and drop, through automations that key off of certain events (i.e. a visit being scheduled for a job can move it from "Requested" to "Scheduled"), or in the Job Status selector in the job details page (which is not shown).

Each Job card contains high-level info about the job. They display the:

  • Job Number and Class

  • Actions (Edit, Update Status, Create Linked Job)

  • Job Type

  • Account

  • Location

  • Assigned Tech (if it contains an upcoming Visit)

Clicking on the Job card will take you to the Job Details page. You can learn more here

At the bottom of each status column, you'll find Invoice and/or Estimate total rollups. This will give you an idea of the value sitting in each status.

Map View

The map view shows jobs as location-based pins on the map. You can move around the map and zoom in or out as needed.

On the left sidebar, job cards are displayed with the same details as in the Board view.

Click on a job pin to zoom in and view a small card that displays the high-level job details. Click on the "See Details" link to go to the full Job Details page.

List View

The list view displays jobs in tables organized by the job status. You can collapse a table by clicking on the header.

Each table displays the following columns:

  • Actions (Edit, Update Status, Create Linked Job)

  • Job ID

  • Job Type

  • Account

  • Location

  • Next Visit

  • Job Class

In the header of each table, you'll find Invoice and/or Estimate total rollups. This will give you an idea of the value sitting in each status.

That’s it! We hope this guide has helped you become a pro at managing Jobs.
