  • 0:00 Hello and welcome back to our series on how to use the technician app at breezy. In this video we're going to be looking a little bit deeper in how to actually service a job.

  • 0:10 Now, the main thing we're going to focus on in this video is going to be this little plus or right here in the corner.

  • 0:15 So that's something that is going to, give you a lot of different actions that you can perform while you're servicing the customer.

  • 0:20 As you know, we have some information down here. A lot of this is just going to be more for your information, helping you to be aware of what's going on, getting context.

  • 0:28 You can add some things from here, but really most of what you're going to do is going to live right here.

  • 0:34 So first off, we've got our estimate here. So you can create an estimate from here, type a message, add some pictures.

  • 0:42 This does differ from this button here, where you can add photos in this spot. These are just going to be photos that are attached to the, the job in general.

  • 0:49 Whereas this is going to be attaching pictures to that estimate specifically. Then you can add options. Obviously we know that when you create an estimate sometimes, if this is maybe for an AC unit replacement, you might give them a couple of options to choose from.

  • 1:03 Hey, this one's going to be best for, your unit. You've got two stories. You want to have someone that's going to push that air up to the second floor a little bit more something like that.

  • 1:10 Whereas you know, maybe this one, it's not going to get that air up there as much. Not going to have as much power behind it.

  • 1:15 But it'll get the job done. It's a little bit cheaper. So that's what this is here for you. You can add multiple options depending on what you want to quote them for.

  • 1:24 It'll has the sales tax here which you can edit in case that's inaccurate for some reason. Then you can save it as a draft.

  • 1:30 You can preview it and then you can also create that estimate and present it to the customer. another option we have here is we have the ability to create an invoice.

  • 1:39 Obviously a little bit different from an estimate because this is for work or parts that have already been used or work that's been performed or whatever it may be.

  • 1:46 So you can add the display name for the invoice message. You can start adding some line items. You can also add a discount.

  • 1:55 So when you add an item you don't need to, you know, if you're offering a, if it's $1,000 you're offering a $250 discount.

  • 2:02 You don't have to just put it in at $750 just add the item and then add the discount and the invoice will do the math for it.

  • 2:09 You can also do percentage discount and other methods like that. Additionally we've also got here our send financing link. So that's something that as you see in this case.

  • 2:25 There's no opportunity to do that because there has to be an actual invoice already in the system for this customer.

  • 2:32 But once you provide an invoice to the customer and as long as that ranges anywhere from 500 to 25,000 dollars then they will be eligible to apply for financing through wise tax which is another party that is integrated within breezy that will allow your customers to be able to get financing options.

  • 2:50 So that depending on the volume of that deal if anywhere between 500 to 25,000 dollars again the more the, the higher the ticket price then the more options they have and how to pay that.

  • 3:02 So for the smallest price uh items it's going to be closer to you know three months financing options they can spread that payment out over.

  • 3:10 But as they go longer and larger they're able to get closer to six months, twelve months, twenty four months sometimes even longer than that uh for the really large ticket items.

  • 3:22 So this is a great tool for you guys to have integrated here because it means it's something that you can present to the customers when you giving them the quote for that new installed.

  • 3:30 It's going to be a little bit of a hard hit. This helps to soften the blow by offering to spread that out over period of time and it's all integrated right here.

  • 3:38 It's not something that you have to go outside of breezy in order to handle with that customer. So that is send a financing.

  • 3:47 Next we have creating a maintenance plan. So obviously this is going to be a useful tool for if you're wanting to convert this customer from not just getting a one time service but then also being able to roll them over to a recurring revenue source by signing them up to a maintenance.

  • 4:02 It's playing. You can do that from this button right here. Adding photos as we mentioned. That's a way you can add pictures.

  • 4:08 Again, this one goes onto the job itself instead of on an estimate or some other specific item. This will just go into that catalog.

  • 4:15 Now out of note, there's some interesting power in this one. So on its face, yes, it is the ability to just add notes here.

  • 4:24 But there's a little bit more to it. As you'll notice, if you can type, you can put in a message here.

  • 4:29 We can say call the customer to You can confirm. And when we do that, you can bold italicize. You can even add a picture to the note.

  • 4:42 But you can add another attachment as well. This is where it gets really helpful here. So this tool allows you to tag your team members.

  • 4:50 I mean. In case you want somebody in the office, maybe you want jewel to give this customer a call about this item, you can put that in there and you can tag that individual so that they will then receive that as a notification, whether on the tech app or on the desktop app, whatever it made.

  • 5:06 If you on the tech side or on the office side, they will receive a notification about this and they'll be able to then act on that and mark it off.

  • 5:14 So if we add that, we've now added a note to this job and you can see this call the customer to confirm and we've tagged jewel on it.

  • 5:23 So over in this notification section, if you have been tagged by one of your team members, you would receive that notification here.

  • 5:29 You can review it and then you can also mark it off when you have completed it there. So really really helpful tool just to help with your communication with your team members on whatever you've got going on with this customer.

  • 5:43 So make sure to use this note tool and tag your team members when you want to make sure that they're accountable and reminded to actually act on what you're sending to them.

  • 5:52 Alright additionally we can add equipment. So this is something you can do when you want to create a record right this is super helpful to have a record of what equipment your customers actually have on their property.

  • 6:04 Sometimes you get a phone call and they just say well it's a furnace or they might be able to give you the brand but they don't they can't try to label to tell you anything else.

  • 6:10 So this is a really helpful place to document this and this will then remain on that customers account and associated with that property until somebody from your company removes it because you replace it or something else.

  • 6:21 So just go ahead use this average life expense expectancy. All this stuff is just really helpful to have. And then finally you can also add an HVAC system.

  • 6:32 Of course similar to add equipment. You're going to see some similar fields here but it's a little bit more straightforward even some information for zoning, filters, all this other information here.

  • 6:41 So really helpful again. Whatever you add here is going to be attached to the account. You'll see it down here in equipment in HVAC.

  • 6:48 It's all going to come to live down Alright, that's going to be it for this video. Thanks for stopping by to learn more about how to use the Technician app to service customers in Breezy.
