You can reply to any message directly from the GetReplies inbox. You don’t need to open Gmail, Outlook, or LinkedIn. The reply is sent from the same account that sent the original outreach, and it appears in the contact’s inbox as a direct continuation of the conversation.
How to reply to an email
Click on any email message in the inbox to open it.
The full email thread appears — showing every email sent and received in the conversation, in chronological order.
Click Reply at the bottom of the thread to open the reply editor.
Type your reply. You can attach files, add links, and format text (bold, italic) as needed.
Add CC or BCC recipients if required.
Click Send. The reply is sent from the same mailbox that received the original reply.
How to reply to a LinkedIn message
Click on any LinkedIn message in the inbox to open it.
The full LinkedIn message thread appears — showing every message sent and received in the conversation.
Click Reply at the bottom of the thread to open the reply editor.
Type your LinkedIn message. LinkedIn messages are plain text — no formatting, links only.
Click Send. The reply is sent from the same LinkedIn account that the original message was sent from.
Replies always go from the original sender account
When you reply from the inbox, GetReplies uses the same mailbox or LinkedIn account that sent the original outreach to that contact. You don’t need to select an account — the system handles it automatically.
This preserves the continuity of the conversation from the prospect’s perspective. They will always see messages from the same person throughout the sequence and any manual follow-up.
What you can do in a reply
Attach files. You can attach documents, images, or PDFs to email replies. Useful when a prospect asks for a proposal, case study, or pricing sheet.
Add a link. Include a calendar link, a website URL, or a case study link in your reply.
CC or BCC. Add additional recipients to an email reply — useful when a prospect forwards the thread to a colleague who will now be involved in the decision.
Format email text. Basic formatting (bold, italic, bullet points) is available in email replies. LinkedIn replies are plain text only.
Continuing the sequence after a reply
When a contact replies, their sequence stops automatically. If you have a conversation and the prospect asks to be followed up in two weeks, you can:
Note the follow-up in your CRM (if you use one)
Create a new campaign or add the contact to an existing follow-up campaign for a later date
Use the pipeline acceleration agents to build a short re-engagement sequence for contacts at this stage
The ability to resume a paused sequence for a contact who has replied is on the GetReplies product roadmap and will be available in a future release.
