One of the advantages of using the Profile Tagging is that it enables you to tag each profile as you see fit π A popular application of Trail Profile Tagging is if you don't want to offer insurance advice to certain customers, you can use the tag Mortgage Only for that purpose. Conversely, you could also use the tags Insurance Only or combine two or more for more flexible use.

Set up the Tag in your Settings:
The first step in completing this process is setting up the tag in your settings. You may call it anything that fits your business π
Applying the Tag to Individual Profiles
The quick and easy way to apply profile tags is from each individual profile. To do this, go to your client profile and click the tag icon at the top and then apply your chosen tag:
You may then view the profile's tags from your Contacts - Profiles page by selecting the correct column:
Applying the Tag to Many Profiles
If you have a large book, it may seem daunting to apply this tag to all of your clients in bulk. However, we've added a process to make this as seamless as possible!
To select profiles in bulk, you may individually select multiple profiles, or use the checkbox at the top left to select the 50 profiles currently loaded on your screen:
You may then select a tag on the right hand side to be applied to all selected profiles. Don't forget to save your changes!
Use Cases
Now that you've successfully tagged your mortgage only clients, you can now run reports based on this as a metric! In the next few examples, we'll primarily be using the Advanced Filter to help facilitate this π
For example, you may want to run a Profile report of All Mortgage Only clients that live in Auckland:
Or perhaps, run a Contact report on all Mortgage Only contacts that belong to A rank profiles:
