I lost my gift card/reward

If you have lost your reward, here are some steps you can take to find and gain access to the reward again.

With rewards often being sent by email, there are times where you may lose track of your reward email or it may have been accidentally deleted when doing some clean up.

These emails will always lead back to your reward information once you have first claimed your reward, so it is worth saving these emails once you have received them.

One of the easiest ways to find an email is to search for gifts@giftbit.com in your inbox. All rewards sent through the Giftbit app come from this email.


Rewards can also be sent directly by senders using Giftbit links, so you may need to search for their email in order to find your reward.

Some rewards may have additional steps in order to recover card information so below we will list all the ways to recover lost cards for the different reward types Giftbit offers.

Brand gift cards, Virtual Visa Incentive Card, Visa Prepaid eReward Card

If you have claimed a brand gift card (like Amazon.com or Wal-Mart), the Virtual Visa Incentive Card or the Visa Prepaid eReward card, there are no additional steps required in order to access your card information.

Inside the original email or link you received, going through the claim process again will bring you back to the card information. The eReward card will require a couple extra clicks but for these rewards, you only require the original email or link to access your reward information again.


Physical Visa Incentive Card

If you have lost your Physical Visa Incentive card, reach out to support@giftbit.com with the phone number associated with the card. We will work with you on confirming your mailing address, terminating the original card and sending a new one.

We recommend reaching out as soon as you realize it is lost to avoid the possibility of funds being used if the card were to be picked up by another person.


Virtual Prepaid Mastercard® USD and Virtual Prepaid Visa AUD (My Prepaid Center)

The virtual prepaid Mastercard USD hosted by My Prepaid Center has their own card retrieval system and only requires the email you original associated with the card to be sent a new link.

Once on the page for your card, simply enter your email address to be sent a new link. If you created an account with them during your initial claim, you will be prompted to log in instead as your card will be tied to your account.


Australian Virtual Prepaid Visa (My Prepaid Centre)

The Virtual Prepaid Visa AUD hosted by My Prepaid Centre has their own card retrieval system and only requires the email you original associated with the card to be sent a new link.

Once on the page for your card, simply enter your email address to be sent a new link. If you created an account with them during your initial claim, you will be prompted to log in instead as your card will be tied to your account.


Virtual Prepaid Mastercard® (Digital Prepaid Rewards)

If your Virtual Prepaid Mastercard is hosted by Digital Prepaid Rewards, you will be required to have the original email or link you received. On your reward page there will be an Order Reference Number you will need to copy.

Next, go to digitalprepaidrewards.com, click the token tab and enter the order reference number. An email with a verification code will be sent to your email and once you enter that code you will be able to see your card information again.


GBP Virtual Prepaid Mastercard® (Purecard.com)

If you have lost the information for our GBP Mastercard, all you will need to do is go back to Purecard.com and log in. Creating an account is part of their claim process so any cards you have claimed will be associated with your account on their site.
