Virtual Prepaid Mastercard® (Digital Prepaid Rewards): How to Redeem, Use and Common Questions

Initial Claim

  1. Claim your offer and select Virtual Prepaid Mastercard. Confirm your selection.

  2. Click "Enter Email Address" and enter your information.

    1. Make sure your email is correct as you need to receive an email for the next steps.

  3. An email will be sent immediately from our activation partner to the provided address and will contain a secure link to access the card.

    1. Note: The email will come from notification@digitalprepaidrewards.com and the subject-line will be: “Your Virtual Card is Ready to Claim!”

Activating Your Card

  1. Open the email from Digital Prepaid Rewards and click “Claim Your Virtual Card".

    1. If the link does not work: copy your digital token, visit digitalprepaidrewards.com and enter the token.

  2. Enter your information.

    1. First and Last Name

    2. Address Information

      1. This information is used if you are making purchases online.

    3. Email and Phone

  3. Once registered, you will be shown your card information, expiry and CVV.

Once you have registered your Giftbit Virtual Prepaid Mastercard, the card is instantly available for use everywhere Mastercard is accepted.

Shopping Online

  1. Add items to your cart and click "Checkout".

    • Make sure the cart total does not exceed the balance of your card.

  2. When prompted for payment, enter the Card Number, Expiry Date and CVV in the payment fields.

    • Make sure the billing address and name match what you used when claiming the card.

    • Note: Some sites require exact matches (Amazon), which can include capitalization of your name and billing address.

      • Billing address and name on the card CAN be case sensitive, so make sure to use the same format you used when claiming the card.

  3. You are now ready to complete your purchase!

Shopping In-Store

  1. Add your card to your preferred wallet: Google Pay, Apple Pay, or Samsung Pay.

  2. Open your wallet app and select the correct card.

  3. Tap on the terminal at the time of payment.

💡Cashiers may be able to manually enter card details. This can also be used to make purchases by phone if the retailer or merchant allows it!

Can I transfer funds off my card?

Funds cannot be transferred off the card to services like Venmo, Paypal and Zelle. Funds can be loaded to merchant specific apps allowing you to use those funds with that merchant.

I made a mistake with my address, can I change it?

For cards hosted on "Digital Pre-Paid Rewards", go to your card details and select "Manage Details" to the left. From here, click "Manage Personal Information" to see and change information as needed.

I suspect fraud on my card and need to file a dispute, where do I go?

You can file the dispute directly from the card detail page. Click ‘Manage Details’ and then click ‘Dispute a Charge’. You can also contact Cardholder Services by calling 1-877-325-8444 or submitting a request at digitalprepaidrewards.com/contactus.

Your reward will be delivered via email with instructions for claiming your virtual prepaid Mastercard. You must claim your card within 3 months from the date these instructions are sent via email. If you do not claim your card within that time frame, a virtual prepaid card will be generated for you, which will be accessible through the original payment email link.
