The Workspace Tab in Content Library

Written by Holly Conrad Smith

Start every project from your company's own standards. The Workspace tab of the Content Library holds the content your organization has shared, like your approved usages, house flows, team layouts, internal apps, and data layers, so everyone on the team builds from the same assumptions.

Available on Team and Enterprise plans.

What's on the Workspace tab

The Workspace tab shows content that belongs to the workspace you're signed in to. Most of it is content packs, which bundle content your team made so anyone can add it to a project in one click. The What is a Content Pack? article explains how packs work.

The Workspace tab also shows your workspace's own data layers, apps, and shared files, plus its projects and templates.

Choose a type from the Content Type list to see only that kind of content:

A grayed-out type means your workspace hasn't shared any of it yet. Bundles are packs that combine several content types. The Content Pack Categories article explains each category.

Projects appears for people with edit access.

Featured content

The Featured row at the top of the Workspace tab shows the content your workspace admins want everyone to see first, like a standard template or a must-use data layer.

Workspace admins choose what's featured with the Featured toggle when they create or edit a pack. Admins can drag featured cards to change their order. Reordering is off while a search is active.

Add content to your project

The workspace tab acts like the Marketplace. Add content to your project by selecting an item of interest.

  • For a pack, click Get to add its contents to your project.

  • For a layer or app, click Get. The button reads Open when the item is already in your project.

  • For a project, open it and click Import to bring its content into your project.

  • For a template, open it and click Apply.

Click any item to see its details before you add it. The Import Content from Projects article covers project imports in detail.
