Use categories to organize your calculations in Analytics

Categories organize your Analytics calculations both visually and schematically.

Categories are containers for displaying your calculations. They appear as headers in your report.

Every calculation belongs to a single category. Categories can be added to multiple Tabs.

To Create a new category:

Scroll to the bottom of your analytics tab and click "new category"

Enter a name for the category. (You can change this later).

Click "Create"

The category is added to the current tab. Click the + to add calculations to the category.

Starting from Scratch

When you open analytics for the first time, if you do not start with or select a template, you must define a category:

Give the category a name

Select its color

Click "create category"
