Subtotals are a quick way to see a roll up of an entire category.
To turn on subtotals, navigate to Analytics Settings.
Click the cog in the top right of your analytics tab.
Then, click settings
Toggle on "show unit category subtotals"
With subtotals toggled on, a new line item is added for each Unit in the category.
The line item is always named {{unit abbreviation}} subtotal.
To review what a subtotal line item is summing, click the calculated value
Subtotals are referenceable in other calculations via the subtotal component.
Select the subtotal component type.
Select the category subtotal to reference.
