Current Status: Chariot has just released our beta version of recurring giving. This is available to nonprofits and fundraising platforms building using Chairot's APIs. If you are interested in adding this feature be sure to reach out to contact@givechariot.com
How It Will Work:
DAFpay currently only supports recurring grants on a monthly basis
The start date of the recurring grant will be defaulted to the date that the Create Recurring Grant API is called (i.e., recurring grants can not be made to start at a future date)
The management of monthly gifts will be handled directly on the Donor Advised Fund (DAF) platform. This means there won't be a need for tokens in our system for fundraising platforms. In addition, we're ensuring seamless integration with APIs to automatically update any changes, such as if a donor decides to cancel their recurring gift.
