Getting your charity set up on givestar

Onboarding your charity to givestar allows you:

to receive payouts direct to bank account
access your charity admin portal
Gain access to all the donation and fundraiser data relating to your charity
Access to our custom reporting function download donation and Gift Aid reports, and view donor information where consent has been given.
Create Charity-owned events and fundraising pages

How onboarding is initiated

There are two ways onboarding can begin:

A fundraiser raises money for your charity — our team will contact you directly to start the process.
You contact us directly — email support@givestar.io and let us know you'd like to get your charity set up on givestar.

We send you an onboarding form — once you've made contact, our team will send you a secure onboarding form to complete.
You provide your charity details — this includes your charity registration certificate, bank details, and the details of the persons authorised to act on behalf of the charity. See the full list of what we need here.
We verify your information — our team reviews the information provided and carries out any necessary checks. This typically takes a few business days.
You receive access to your charity dashboard — once verified, you'll be sent login details for your Charity Admin dashboard at charityadmin.givestar.io.
Payouts begin — any funds raised for your charity (including any held while you were not yet onboarded) will be included in the next scheduled payout cycle.

Your charity can still be searched and fundraised for on givestar before onboarding is complete. However:

You won't have access to a charity dashboard or reports
Funds raised will be held securely and earmarked for your charity until onboarding is complete
You won't be able to view donor details
