givestar automatically collects donations and pays them out to the charity directly, so that fundraisers can focus on the fundraising, without the hassle.


Donations are automatically paid out to the charities once a month. Funds raised during one calendar month are typically paid out in the following month, ensuring a regular payout schedule.


Charities are able to monitor donations in real-time through their reporting dashboard - so they can see exactly how much money has been collected and is due to be paid out.


What do I need to do as a fundraiser?

Nothing! Just focus on fundraising and givestar takes care of the rest.


What do I need to do as a donor?

Nothing! Once you have made your donation, givestar takes care of the rest.


What do I need to do as a charity?

If your charity has already been through onboarding, then payments will automatically be sent to your charity bank account every month.


If donations have been raised for your charity, but your charity has not already been through onboarding, then our team will contact you directly to initiate the process. Funds raised for a charity are securely held by givestar until the onboarding process is completed, ensuring the safety and integrity of the charity’s resources. During onboarding, charities are required to provide their bank details, which undergo a thorough verification process to ensure accuracy and security. This ensures that funds are securely held and not transferred to any incorrect or unauthorized accounts.
