Introduction

The integration of the SmartGolf module in Golfmanager allows to connect to the SmartPadel court automation system, optimising the access to the courts and automating electronic functionalities.

This integration enhances the player experience by providing seamless access control and efficient management of the court's electronic systems, such as lighting and entrance gates.

Authorisation form

In order for this external company to be able to connect via an API, the attached document, completed and signed by both parties, must be sent to Golfmanager beforehand. For more information, go to the following link.

How to install SmartGolf

  • Option 1: Installation via Terminal

If manual installation is preferred, use the following command in the terminal:

  • Option 2: Installation from the App Market. Contact our support team for installation.

    • Go to the App Market

    • Search for the SmartGolf module and install it.

How to configure SmartGolf

To integrate SmartGolf with Golfmanager, it is necessary to configure certain parameters that can be obtained from your SmartGolf account.

Important: Sandbox accounts are free, but the SmartPadel team must generate them and provide the API key.

  • Go to Menu> SmartGolf > Settings > Settings

  • Required data

    • API Key: Allows access to SmartPadel services.

    • Gate settings (time in seconds):

      • Start Offset: Defines the time prior to booking at which the gate is unlocked.

      • End Offset: Sets when the door is locked after the reservation.

    • Configuration of Electronic Devices (e.g. lighting):

      • Start Offset: Sets when the electronic devices are activated before the reservation.

      • End Offset: Determines when they are deactivated after the reservation.

    • Production Mode:

      • Enabled: Enables integration in real mode.

      • Disabled: Only allows testing (sandbox).

How SmartGolf works

Resource allocation and testing

To set up and test the integration with the reserve resources, follow these steps:

  • Access the resources page in Golfmanager:

    • Main Menu > Booking > Resources

  • Create or edit a reservation resource.

  • Assign the SmartPadel resource ID to the corresponding resource in Golfmanager.

  • Use the ‘Test SmartGolf’ button to validate the integration.

Booking process

  • When a player makes a reservation in Golf Manager, automated access to the corresponding court is activated.

  • SmartPadel settings are synchronised with the booking, ensuring that electronic devices (e.g. lighting) are activated/deactivated as programmed.

SmartPadel Notifications

Section: Main Menu > SmartGolf > Notifications

The SmartPadel system sends automatic notifications related to access, bookings and other relevant events.

Court access for players

  • When the customer arrives at the main entrance of the club, he/she uses a 4-digit PIN code received by email to enter the reserved court.

  • The system validates the code and allows access at set times.

Notification History

All notifications generated by SmartGolf can be consulted in the following menu:

  • Main menu > SmartGolf > Notifications

Here you can see the access log, reservation confirmations and other events related to the automation of the courses.
