Introduction
In this article we will explain what areas are and what they are for.
An area is the different disciplines that make up a club: golf, tennis, restaurant, etc. and where we will group our different types of resources.
The need to create an area in Golfmanager arose when clubs needed to book more than one activity apart from golf. Without the area, when booking a tennis court for example, the system would offer you to rent a buggy and that did not make sense. By creating the area concept and associating the course and buggies with it, the buggy extras were only offered if you were booking in the golf area.
Therefore, the main functionality of the area is to limit the booking of certain types of extras to certain areas.
In a second phase came the widget and the app. At the time of booking, the system asks you in which area you want to book. Therefore, the area will also help us to personalize the booking experience for our customers in the online part.
Note: If you are a golf course without any additional area, this table may be empty.
