How to create a new message to send mass mailings

Introduction

Golfmanager sends mass emails either from Bulkmail or integrating through Api with Mailchimp.

To create an emailing follow these steps:

From the Main Menu:

  • Click on Clients.

  • Create your list.

  • Select the clients to send.

  • Click on Add to bulk mail.

Now in the pop up:

  1. Select your message or create a New one.

  2. Accept

In the next step, you will see a Start button, click it to start the mass mailing, the recipients and whether the email has been sent or not will be displayed at the bottom.

New Message

Create a new message to send bulk mail, from the Main Menu:

  1. Click on Bulkmail.

  2. Click on New.

  3. Fill in the following data:

  • Subject: Subject of the message.

  • Account: Select the account from which the message will be sent.

  • Message body: The content of the message without formatting or in HTML format.

  • HTML: If the text of the message has formatting activate tab.

  • Attachment: You can add a single attachment to the message. When you save the changes, the name of the attachment will change to an alphanumeric one, as it has been saved in the system in Files > Home > Private.

Editing content

To edit the content of a Bulkmail message in HTML format the best option is to use an editor. On the web you can find many HTML editors and among them, a simple and effective one is [https://html-online.com/editor/].

In the HTML editor you create the message using a simple text editor that will automatically create the HTML code that you must copy into the body of the message with Ctrl+C.

To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Main Menu > Bulkmail and open the message by clicking on the corresponding ID.

  2. Activate the HMTL view mode by clicking on the < > symbol.

  3. Paste the content into the message body with Ctrl+V.

  4. By deactivating the HMTL view mode you will see the content as it will be seen by the recipients of the message.

  5. Click on Save.
