We are excited to release powerful features to make using Goodkind easier. These features have already started rolling out to some customers and will be generally available June 29th in the evening.

Audience Improvements

We are introducing improvements to how Audiences are built and managed in Goodkind. These improvements reduce admin time and unlock more opportunities to use Goodkind in your enrolment management and student experience process.

1. Mapped Audiences - your Goodkind audiences now mirror your CRM lists 1:1. If a contact is removed from your CRM list, Goodkind will remove the contact from your Audience automatically. Prior to this update, Audiences in Goodkind were cumulative which meant contact statuses were not always in sync. Learn more on how to create a Mapped Audience.

An example of how this is helpful: if a contact has moved from Inquiry to Application, the contact will no longer be part of the Inquiry audience. If there was a recording task (1:1 or 1:many) for that contact as part of an inquiry campaign that was not yet sent out, the contact would be removed from the campaign automatically.

2. Audience Segments - Your Goodkind audiences can now be segmented based on your custom attributes to create new audiences. What does this mean? Your CRM admin can now send a single list to Goodkind, and your Goodkind admins can easily create variants and segments using rules and filters for your campaigns. Click here to build your first segment.

An example of how this is helpful: you're looking to make a number of campaigns targeting specific populations of student applicants. Your CRM admin creates a master list for you. In Goodkind, you can create filtered segments for each student population. This audience will sync every time your master list is updated.

3. Updated Audience Page - The Audience page has been refreshed to make Audience management easier. Admins can now remove audiences, create Audience segments, and set custom table columns to see what's important for them. Learn more about Audience management.

Improved Call to Actions

Call to actions in Goodkind are now simpler to manage, and are tied to Campaigns. This was done as admins occasionally edit Call to Actions tied to other Campaigns while creating new Campaigns.

What this means is when you're editing an existing call to action, it will create a copy of the call to action without affecting the original Call to Action tied to another Campaign.

In addition to this organization improvement, we're also introducing additional improvements:

Event Call to Actions

A much requested feature, you can now display event information as a dedicated call to action in Goodkind. When inviting students to virtual or on campus event you can create a custom event card that includes information such as the title, date, start and end times (including time zones). The event button will then direct users to an external URL of your choice.

Custom Emoji Reactions

You can now choose up to 3 custom emoji reactions for your video replies. You can save these emojis as 'sets' and re-use them in future campaigns.

Suggested Replies

You can now create up to 3 suggested text replies. Just like emoji reactions, you can save these replies as 'sets' and re-use them in future campaigns. Start by creating one today.

Other improvements:

  • Improvement in video page load time

  • Improvement to Link type call to actions. They now have the option to automatically redirect users to the link after 10 seconds once the video is watched. This setting is turned off by default and can toggled on at the campaign-level.

  • Caption accuracy has been further improved. Admins can add caption-correction override rules. This means if you see a consistent pattern of words being mis-transcribed, simply add a new suggestion and override it. Learn more here.

  • Removed the advance setting modal from the campaign builder

  • Improved due date modal selection

  • Improved Salesforce Sandbox integration

  • Improve color hex selection in video page settings
