Consumer Booking

Booking Flow - Boarding and Daycare

  • Pet owner will need to be logged in to see the membership benefits on offers, pet perks, and add-ons.

  • A membership tag + discount will display next to offer’s titles

  • Discounts will already be applied to the price displayed on the card

    • Ex: It is not $54.00 + 10% off for Kennel Camp. The original price was $60.00.

  • Add-ons will display the same: tag with discount next to the title of the add-on. Price will already reflect the discount.

  • On the receipt, a Member Discount “line item” will display directly underneath the offer/inventory item it is associated with.

Booking Flow - Grooming

For grooming, discounts will reflect on top of “starting at” prices.

  • Ex: if a starting at price is $100.00, with a 50% off discount, the starting at price will display as $50.00.

NOTE: After pet owner books, the Admin can (as it works currently) adjust the starting at price. The discount will not be affected and still be applied.

  • Admin will see a starting price of $100.00, and be able to adjust it as it currently works within the UI. The discount is a separate line item on the invoice and be taken off the edited starting at price.

    • Ex: If the starting at price is $100.00 and admin adjusts to $120.00, after the 50% off discount is applied, the balance on the invoice will be $60.00. View more details within the “Benefits Applied during Admin Booking” section.

Boarding

Within the Offer, Pet Perks and Room Add-ons Drawer, a membership icon will display next to the price. Only items configured to receive a member price will have an icon. Displayed price already has the discount applied.

  • Offer : Icon has a hover over displaying avg. nightly rate and applied discounts.

  • Pet Perks, Room Add-ons: The icon has a hover over displaying price and applied discounts.

Daycare

Within the Offer and Pet Perks Drawer, a membership icon will display next to the price. Only items configured to receive a member price will have an icon. Displayed price already has the discount applied.

  • Membership icon will not display next to individual date pricing, just on the offer.

  • Offer : Icon has a hover over displaying avg. nightly rate and applied discounts.

  • Pet Perks : Icon has a hover over displaying price and applied discounts.

  • On the Owner drawer, a membership tag will display with the name of the membership.

  • If Pet owner is not a member, no icons or tag will display during the booking flow.

Grooming

Discounts for grooming services will be displayed in the dropdown with a tag and the discount amount

  • After a service is selected with a discount, the dollar amount displayed in the price field is the starting at price - the discount is not reflected on the price here.

    • Discount will be reflected on top of this price on the invoice screen as a separate line item.

    • This keeps the integrity of how much the service costs and the user will not need to factor in the discount when editing the price or fear of overriding it.

  • Hover over the icon next to the final price to see that discounts will be applied at payment

Payment Page

  • If a pet owner has an active membership, a green membership tag will display under the owners name. The tag will display the membership name.

  • Within the invoice, a Member Discount “line item” will display directly underneath the offer/inventory item it is associated with.

    • The second column will display the percentage/dollar amount off (set up in configuration)

    • The last column will show the dollar amount taken off in parentheses.

Editing Unit Price (that has Discount attached)

  • Admin will edit a unit price as they currently do through the three dots/more action menu.

  • Since a membership is tied to this inventory line item, the member discount will be affected and update as well.

Editing Membership Discount

  • Admin will access “Edit Discount” by clicking on the three dots/more action menu next to the discount line item they want to edit. On click, flyout menu will appear with the option “Edit Discount”

  • On click of Edit Discount, modal will launch. Two input fields will display - Discount and Note. Discount will be pre-filled to have the current discount amount.

    • User has a “Remove Discount” action on the right of the modal which will remove discount for the invoice immediately and close the modal.

    • The user can not change the type of discount - dollar amount or percentage. If a percentage is configured for this discount, user can only enter a percentage in field. If a dollar amount if configured for this discount, user can only enter a dollar amount in the field.

NOTE: If the membership discount is updated for an offer, and then admin goes and selects a different offer for this booking (that also has a discount), it is not expected to keep the edited discount that the admin set for the previous offer. The discount will display as it is configured for this offer. The user will have to “Edit Discount” again.

Editing Starting At Price (that has Discount attached)

  • Admin will edit a starting price as they currently do through the three dots/more action menu.

  • Discount attached to this offer/inventory item will update and take off the correct amount off the new unit price

Cancelled Membership

  • If a pet owner has a cancelled membership, a red tag will display under the owners name. The tag will display “Cancelled Membership” with an info icon.

    • On hover of the info icon, a tool tip will display “{Membership Name} cancelled on {Date}”
