What is Proof of Delivery (POD)?

Proof of delivery is the most important step of your delivery journey.

Why?

Because it protects you from unwanted customer claims. It proves that the parcel has been delivered to the correct address and in the expected condition.

How to take a great POD

✅ DO take an image of the goods in an open doorway with the name/no. in view.

❌ DON’T take photos of people, inside their homes or of goods in front of closed doors.

Here's an example of a great proof of delivery:

How do I log a POD?

Once you've arrived at the delivery location click on 'MARK ME AT DELIVERY'.

Then press on 'DELIVER CONSIGNMENT'.

Select the job you are delivering and take the picture on delivery.

❗❗❗ Do not leave the items unattended (on doorsteps, behind bins etc.) unless you have been asked to do so by the booker or the Ops support, on writing.

Once the picture on delivery has been taken and uploaded onto the app press 'Continue'.

Now select the recipient and press 'Continue'.

❗❗❗

Please note: When a customer claims they didn’t receive their shopping, if we can’t produce a correct POD then Gophr has to refund the cost of the delivery AND the FULL cost of the shopping.

If a customer claim comes in and we can’t provide a valid proof of delivery picture, then the chargeback will be TRANSFERRED to the COURIER responsible.

If you are unable to upload a valid POD due to lack of network coverage, save the POD on your phone and contact support for a manual update.
