Overview
Bundles can be created in Shopify without the bugs, loopholes or variant restrictions commonly associated with trying to get bundle working.
A key part of Roadmap bundles is that they can be created using any seperate products or variants, are combined in the cart, but are fulfilled as individual SKUs.
This means that as a brand, you have maximum merchandising power, with no comprise in operational efficiencies.
When a bundle appears in the cart and checkout, the products that make up the bundle will be grouped together. This means that customers will not be able to add to, or remove products from the bundle.
How to create a bundle:
Go to the bundles tab in side your Roadmap Shopify app.
Create the bundle product name, and select the products you want to include. Be sure to select all the relevant variants for each product that will be included in the bundle.
Add the discount (if you want to provide one).
Once you click save, this will automatically create a bundle product
Go to Products > select your newly created bundle.
Populate the product description and images as you would with any other products.
Fulfilment and ERP integration
Roadmap bundles allows stores to bring seperate SKU products together into a bundle, however, when they are purchased, they are separated and display like the below in order confirmations.
This means that there is zero work to do in order to integrate this with your existing ERP or fulfilment solution.
As you can see below, any products that are sold as a bundle display the name of the bundle that was purchased.
This means that you can simply search "bundles" in your list of orders and you will see all bundle orders.
Tracking your bundle sales
All bundle sales are tracked within Roadmap analytics tab which includes a breakdown of the highest performing bundles. As well as the ability to export reports.
As with all features in Roadmap - sales can be filtered by campaigns and dates.
Bundle campaign ideas
Upsell β create a bundle with a relevant, lower-value add-on.
Encourage multi-buys β give customers the option to buy multiple top-performing products. They may give one as a gift, or enlist a friend to go in on the order. Either way, you're encouraging referrals and word of mouth.
Shift slow-moving items β combine slow-moving products with top-performing ones to run through your stock.
