Display

The Display Section in GreenCast Connect helps you access key data quickly and easily. Here’s a simple guide to get you started.


1. Accessing the Display Section

  • Open the GreenCast Connect app.

  • Go to the Settings menu (tap the gear icon ⚙️).

  • Tap the “Display” tab.


2. Language Preference

To set your preferred language:

  • Go to the Settings menu (tap the gear icon ⚙️).

  • Tap the “Display” tab.

  • Select “Language” and choose from:

    • English

    • Spanish

    • French

    • Japanese

      The Display Section will automatically update to reflect your language choice.


3. Light Theme

The Display Section uses a Light Theme by default for clear visibility.
To confirm or adjust:

  • Go to the Settings menu (tap the gear icon ⚙️).

  • Tap the “Display” tab.

  • Ensure “Light Theme” is selected for optimal brightness.

Light Theme

  • Description: The Light Theme uses a bright background with dark text for clarity and visibility during the day or in well-lit environments.

  • Best For:

    • Bright, daytime conditions

    • Users who prefer a clean and classic look

  • Benefits:

    • Easier to read in bright environments

    • Familiar interface for most users

Dark Theme

  • Description: The Dark Theme uses a dark background with light text to reduce glare and eye strain in low-light settings.

  • Best For:

    • Nighttime or low-light environments

    • Reducing eye fatigue during extended use

  • Benefits:

    • Helps minimize glare in dark conditions

    • Reduces battery consumption on devices with OLED or AMOLED screens.


4. Start Week On:

  • Go to the Settings menu (tap the gear icon ⚙️).

  • Select display.

  • To “Start Week on” choose from:

    • Sunday

    • Monday

    • Saturday

The calendar will automatically adjust to display your preferred start day in the Events tab.
