Many GreenPal users prefer to use a check to make their payments. While the GreenPal platform is designed to facilitate easy, secure payments through a card via your Lawn company's card processor, you have some flexibility in paying your lawn service provider. Here's how it works:

  1. Payment Options: Some vendors on the GreenPal platform may accept alternative payment methods such as cash, check, Zelle, or Venmo. It is best to communicate directly with your service provider to confirm their acceptance methods.

  2. Reserving Your Spot: Even if you plan to pay by check, you must contact them directly to arrange it.

  3. Secure Payment Processing: After the lawn service you hired completes the job, they will upload a photo of their work to your account. You will receive an email with this photo, and after you confirm the completion, the payment will be processed through the lawn service's secure Stripe merchant account.

  4. Communication with Your Service Provider: It's a good idea to inform your lawn service provider beforehand if you plan to pay by check or any other method. Once you hire them, you can do this through a quick text message or phone call.

By following these steps, you can ensure that you have flexibility in your payment options while still benefiting from the convenience and security of the GreenPal platform.
