When you receive lawn mowing quotes using your free GreenPal account, the lawn care companies cover several essential services to keep your yard looking its best.

Every Lawn Care business operates a little differently, however, generally here's what you can expect from them.

  1. Mowing Front and Back Yards: Their quotes include cutting your grass in both the front and back yards to an even height.

  2. Trimming Around Obstacles: Also known as weed-eating, this involves trimming grass around obstacles like trees, fences, and garden beds.

  3. Edging and Blowing Off Surfaces: Edging along sidewalks, driveways, and other edges to create a clean line and blowing off any grass clippings or debris from hard surfaces.

Their services are billed per cut after each visit and are designed for grass that is under 6-10 inches tall. It's important to note that bagging grass clippings is not included in their pricing and is generally not available.

Important Notes

  • Expect a Tall Grass Surcharge: If any portion of your yard has grass taller than 6 to 10 inches, your lawn service will reach out to you for approval of a tall grass surcharge. This is typically about 2-3x their quoted price for your first mow to bring your yard back under control.

  • Their Initial Mowing Quality: When it comes to lawn mowing.. If your grass is over 6-10 inches tall, your first cut will not look perfect. It usually takes any lawn care business you work with a few mowings to get your lawn and edges back to a well-maintained state.
