Managing the timing of your lawn service can be a bit tricky. If you need to change the start date for your lawn mowing, follow these steps:

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Log In to Your GreenPal Account

    • Visit the GreenPal website or open the mobile app.

    • Log in using your credentials.

  2. Hire a Lawn Service

    • Browse through the available lawn services and select the one you want to work with.

    • Click "Hire Me" to proceed with the checkout process and hire the service.

  3. Schedule Your Service

    • After booking the service, click the orange button that says "Schedule Service."

    • Choose your desired new start date for the lawn mowing.

  4. Confirm the New Schedule

    • Your new start date will override the initial booking.

    • To ensure everything is set, send a text message to the lawn service you hired. This helps firm up your new start date and avoids any confusion.

    • It's important to note that all lawn companies operate a little differently. However, generally speaking, any Lawn Care company you hire will have a 3-day window to complete your lawn for you. That means they will come the day before, the day of, or the day after your requested date. Generally speaking, they are not able to promise exact days or times.

Important Notes

  • Pricing: Changing the date won't affect the pricing. The lawn companies interested in your lawn will bid within a few hours, regardless of the day.

  • Ongoing Service: Remember that these lawn services only accept ongoing customers who schedule weekly or every two weeks until the grass stops growing in October or November. They do not offer one-time cuts.
