Understanding payouts for your accounting

Track payouts and understand your revenue breakdown.

Written by Manon Carneiro

The Revenue tab in your dashboard lets you track amounts linked to your activity.

Note: this article only covers your distributor payouts, i.e. the money from your sales transferred to your bank account. Transfers from a club's cashback fund to the club's own bank account follow a different flow and schedule: see Use the club cashback fund.

How the payment flow works

  1. The end customer (club or club member) pays on the club shop via Apple Pay, card, PayPal, Klarna, or Google Pay.

  2. Stripe, our payment partner, secures and validates the transaction. Funds are collected in your platform's Stripe wallet.

  3. Transaction fees are deducted at source to pay Stripe. You receive a monthly invoice summarising these fees.

  4. Each month, the net balance - sales minus transaction fees minus cashback paid to clubs - is transferred to your bank account.

Note 1: this deduction at source always applies, whichever accounting method you choose to record cashback in your own books. See Accounting for cashback: only how you record these flows in your accounts changes, not how the payout itself is calculated.

Note 2: the goods flow is separate from this financial flow. You order and pay your products directly from your usual supplier, who invoices you as normal. The platform only invoices its own fees (transaction fees and any commission).

Key indicators

  • Total paid — all transactions processed on your platform for the selected period

  • Transaction fees — Stripe payment fees, billed monthly

  • Total cashback generated — amounts credited to clubs' funds based on your cashback rules

  • Total payout — the amount actually transferred to your bank account. Your distributor payouts happen between the 7th and 14th of each month. This schedule doesn't apply to club cashback fund transfers.

Understanding the "Payments via vouchers" line

In the Revenue tab overview, the Payments via vouchers amount only includes vouchers funded directly by the club (card or SEPA transfer) — i.e. those for which a real payment actually took place. See Create and distribute vouchers.

Important: vouchers generated for endowments and for kits (redemption codes) are explicitly excluded from this total (the widget's tooltip confirms this). They don't represent an actual payment to you — they simply deduct an amount from the member's cart, with no associated financial transaction. The usage breakdown for these (by club, by endowment, or by kit) is available further down the dashboard. See Assign endowments to your clubs and Create and publish kits.

Calculation summary

Total paid − Transaction fees − Total cashback = Total payout

Going further

From the Revenue tab, click Transaction details to verify each transaction individually, export data as .xls or .csv, and filter by club and period. These exports make it easier to run internal checks and share information with your accountant.
