⚠️ As of February 25, 2026, Atlas no longer generates or imports themes. If you already have the Atlas theme installed, your theme is unaffected and everything in this article still applies. New users can use Atlas to generate pages and import them into any Shopify theme.
The Atlas theme is a Shopify theme built by the Atlas team, designed for conversion. It was supplied to Atlas merchants before February 25, 2026. If you have it, it continues to work exactly as it did. It is no longer available to new merchants and is not coming to the Shopify Theme Store.

What the Atlas theme is
A Shopify theme built specifically for the kind of stores Atlas merchants run: single-product and small-catalogue stores where the product page does most of the selling. It includes customisable sections, conversion-oriented layouts, and built-in support for the Atlas merchandising tools.
Like any Shopify theme, it lives in your theme library and is edited in the Shopify theme editor.

What this means if you have it
Nothing changes. Your theme is installed in your store and is yours. It did not stop working on February 25, 2026, and it has not been removed from anyone's store.
Your store keeps selling. Every page, section and setting works as before.
Atlas still works with it. Bundle Deals, Cart Upsells and the page builder all work on the Atlas theme the same as on any other theme, subject to the same requirement that the Atlas extensions are enabled.
You can keep customising it in the Shopify theme editor as normal. See Customizing the Atlas theme.
ℹ️ The theme is no longer updated. It will not receive new sections or features, and it will not be adapted to future Shopify changes. It works today, and it is a fixed thing rather than a maintained one.
What Atlas does now
Atlas generates pages and publishes them into whatever Shopify theme you use. That includes the Atlas theme if you have it, and any other theme if you do not.

When to consider moving
There is no deadline and no pressure. Reasons you might choose to move anyway:
You want a theme that receives updates
You need a feature the Atlas theme does not have
You are hitting Shopify's 300-block limit and want a lighter theme
Your store has outgrown a single-product layout
If you do move, everything Atlas does keeps working. Set up the new theme carefully before publishing it, since the Atlas extensions are enabled per theme.

Support still covers the Atlas theme for merchants who have it. Start a chat from the bubble in the bottom right of Atlas, or email support@helloatlas.io. Include your store URL and a description of the problem.
Bear in mind that the theme is not being updated, so a fix may take the form of a workaround or a recommendation rather than a change to the theme.
