Assigning a role to a user defines exactly what they can see and do in the HelloHacker portal. This is an important step to make sure each person only has the access they need for their responsibilities, which improves both security and clarity when managing permissions.
Accessing the Users Page
You can get to the Users section in two ways:
Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard, then select Users from the dropdown menu.
Or go directly to: https://portal.hellohacker.com/configurations/users
Assigning a Role to a User
On the Users page, find the user you want to update.
Click anywhere on that user’s row to open the Edit User panel.
In the Role dropdown menu, select the role you want to assign.
Review any other settings if needed.
Click the red Save button to apply the changes.
Once the role is assigned, the user’s permissions are updated immediately. This ensures you keep full control over who can manage users, change configurations, or access sensitive information.
