When set up, users can enable job and candidate custom fields to use in vacancy portals from within the 'Settings' tab inside the Admin Dashboard to create a tailor-made shortlist for their Hiring Manager(s) - more on that here >>
However, the fields available for selection are managed by Admin users who can control:
the availability of custom fields in Bullhorn.
what's enabled for selection by users inside AssistCV.
Availability of Custom Fields in Bullhorn
The custom fields available for selection in vacancy portals are those found in the ‘Job Submission’ and ‘Candidate’ sections within Bullhorn Field Maps.
Admin users are in control of what pulls through to AssistCV. By default, any candidate or job submission custom fields that have not been hidden in Bullhorn will sync with AssistCV.
If you want to limit the availability of custom fields, go to your Bullhorn menu, then Admin > Field Maps. Scroll to find the 'Candidate' or 'Job Submission' section on the list and then tick the hidden box to stop these fields from pulling through.
For more information on creating custom fields within Bullhorn, read their article here >>
Enabling Custom Fields in AssistCV for Bullhorn
By default, custom fields will be disabled in AssistCV for Bullhorn.
They'll only be available for selection by users once they've been enabled by an Admin user. To do this, go to the ATS Settings tab in the Admin Dashboard.
Scroll to the ‘Candidate Custom Fields’ or ‘Submission Custom Fields’ sections and toggle on the fields you want to make available.
Note: If you disable a custom field that's in use on a vacancy portal, a pop-up will appear to let you know. The use of the field will need to be disabled in the portal settings menu before you can disable its availability company-wide.
