Adding Email Domains

How to set up email domains for your AssistCV account.

You can add your own email domain(s) in the Admin Dashboard so that the comms being sent to your Hiring Managers for vacancy and candidate submissions come from your agency instead of from us.

To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Access the ‘Email Domains’ tab in the Admin Dashboard and click ‘+Add a Domain’.

  2. On the next screen, complete the following:

    • Enter the domain name you want your emails to come from, i.e. yourcompany.com.

    • Enter the email address of the person you want the DNS records to be sent to.

    • Choose a ‘no-reply’ address – this is the address we’ll use if the AssistCV portal owner’s email isn’t available in Bullhorn.

    • Select the brand you want the domain to be associated with. If you have more than one brand, you can have more than one email domain.

    • Click the ‘Create’ button. This will auto-generate the DNS records you need to complete the set-up. These will be sent by email to the person you specified per bullet two above.

  3. Next, the DNS records need to be shared with your host provider. The process of adding these will vary depending on your DNS host and the change can take up to 48 hours to take effect. Once found, you’ll receive a message confirming that you’ve been verified successfully.

  4. Return to the ‘Email Domains’ tab in the Admin Dashboard and click to ‘Validate’ the change.

Once these steps have been completed, all communications sent from AssistCV to your clients will come from your domain instead of ours, including client updates, chat notifications and the MFA, one-time password emails.
