When your earbuds are connected, if a firmware update is available, a red notification indicator will appear next to the earbuds icon in the top-left corner of the Record page.
Tap the icon to view the firmware update prompt, including the version number and a summary of what's new. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the update.
If the firmware update fails, you can follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
Before performing a firmware update, please ensure that your headphones have sufficient battery power, and place both headphones inside the charging case, keeping the charging case lid open.
If the progress bar freezes during a firmware update, it's likely because the update is initializing, and it may take a little longer to start.
If the progress bar remains stuck, you can close the charging case lid, reopen and reconnect the case after 5 seconds, and update the firmware again.
If the firmware update always fails, you can try resetting the headphones first and then updating the firmware according to the following methods:
Go to your device’s Bluetooth settings and forget the earbuds.
Place both earbuds in the charging case, close the lid, and wait for at least 30 seconds.
Open the charging case, then press and hold the multifunction button on the back of the case for more than 10 seconds. The indicator light will turn on, then off, and finally start breathing white—this means the reset is successful.
The earbuds will now automatically enter pairing mode. Go back to your device and select the earbuds from the Bluetooth list to reconnect.
If the firmware cannot be upgraded normally according to the aforementioned method, please communicate with our technical support staff on the technical support page, report the issue, and submit the log.
If the firmware upgrade fails, it will automatically roll back to the firmware version you had before the upgrade, and it will not cause any other impact. Please rest assured.
