How to Keep Online Meeting Recordings Uninterrupted Using Safe Record?

Avoid interruptions from mobile phone calls during online meetings.

Safe Record

Safe Record is designed to ensure recording continuity during online meetings.

When recording or transcribing meetings on platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet, an incoming phone call—even if declined—may forcibly interrupt the active recording session, causing it to stop or split into multiple segments.

Safe Record ensures that incoming phone calls do not interrupt your ongoing online meeting recording, allowing the session to continue uninterrupted without blocking the calls themselves.

Please Note: Due to system-level constraints, once Safe Record is enabled, the app is unable to automatically detect when the online meeting has ended. Therefore, after the meeting concludes, you must manually tap the Stop button to end the recording.

How to Enable Safe Record

There are two ways to enable this feature:

Option 1: Enable for the Current Session Only

  1. During an active call recording, tap the Safe Record button at the bottom of the recording page.

  2. Toggle on Safe Record.

This method only activates Safe Record for the current session. It will not be enabled by default for future recordings.

Option 2: Enable as Default for All Future Recordings

  1. Go to Me → Recording Settings → Safe Record.

  2. Toggle on Safe Record.|

Once enabled via this method, Safe Record will be automatically activated for every subsequent call recording session by default.
