The Auto Record feature lets your viaim earbuds automatically start recording whenever a phone call or online meeting is detected — so you can stay focused without worrying about hitting record manually.
Before you begin
Make sure you have the viaim app installed and your earbuds are paired and connected to your device.
Setting up Auto Record
Open the Viaim app
Tap Me in the bottom navigation
Select Recording Settings
Turn on Auto Record
Things to keep in mind
Your earbuds must be connected to the viaim app for Auto Record to work
The Viaim app must be running in the background — closing the app will disable Auto Record
Coming in May 2026
An upcoming update will allow Auto Record to work even when your earbuds aren't connected to the app.
Recordings will be saved directly on your earbuds
Once you reconnect to the Viaim app, you can download, transcribe, and summarize your recordings as usual
