Allianz (ACT, TAS, WA, NT) New Injury and WRS Processes

Updated over a year ago

We've developed an automated process that enables clients to send new injury reports to Allianz every night and receive claim numbers for those reports automatically. Users can also conveniently run a customised Allianz WRS extract and send it to the insurer. These features only apply to policies with Allianz in ACT, TAS, WA & NT.

TURNING THE FUNCTIONALITY ON

To turn this process on for any Allianz policy in ACT, NT, TAS or WA, follow the below steps:

  1. Navigate to your Policies page via Settings, and then click on ‘Organisation’ from the side menu, and select ‘Policies/Workplaces’.

  2. Find the applicable Allianz policy (if needed, you can add a new Policy before following the next steps) and select the Edit option.

  3. Scroll down and find the Allianz Automated Notifications checkbox. Check this box and an Allianz Automated Notification Email field will appear with the email prepopulated for you.

AUTOMATED INJURY NOTIFICATION

Here's how the injury notification process works automatically:

  1. When a new injury is added, complete the “Initial Notification” on the injury.

  2. When saving the Notification, the user will see a green message that reads "The initial notification is saved and the information will be sent directly to Allianz for you".

  3. That night, the system will send an email to Allianz with the information about the injury, and Allianz will load the injury into their system.

AUTOMATED CLAIM NUMBER UPLOAD

Here's how the Claim Number loading process works automatically:

  1. Allianz will send a “Claim Number” file with all the claim numbers of those new injuries they loaded that evening, and send this back to us.

  2. We will automatically load the Claim Numbers against the injuries.

WRS SUBMISSION

When submitting WRS information to Allianz for ACT, NT, TAS, and WA, it is important to note that Allianz has a specific format requirement. To ensure successful submission, follow the WRS submission process outlined below:

  • To access the Allianz WRS, users can navigate to the Menu and choose the Data Extracts option located in the Workflows section.

  • To generate a new WRS, click on the "Add" button found on the right-hand side of the page. This will lead you to a new page where you can choose the "AllianzWRS" option from the Type dropdown menu.

If you are unable to locate AllianzWRS in the list, get in touch with our Support team via the in-system Help widget for assistance.

  • Select a policy and coverage period, then click Generate to proceed.

Once the files are created, you will receive an email confirming this, and you will see the record on the Data Extracts page.

EMAIL WRS SUBMISSION

To email the WRS to Allianz, click on the context menu (...) and select the Email option:

You will be taken to the Email page where you'll see the relevant Allianz email address pre-populated, along with the WRS file automatically attached:
