Estimates

Updated over 2 years ago

OVERVIEW

The Estimates page has been designed to capture information that is required to be reported to the regulator.

If you are working across different jurisdictions you will notice the appearance of the page will slightly differ according to the jurisdiction you are working within so that the required information is captured and reported.

UNDERSTANDING THE REQUIREMENTS

Before entering information relating to Estimates, it is recommended that you familiarise yourself with the relevant guidelines in your jurisdiction.

ESTIMATES

To access the Estimates page use the side menu to select Financials > Estimates.

On this page, the Top 'Current Estimate' section shows you the current estimate, as it is now.

The bottom 'Previous Estimate' section shows the previous estimates as they were entered by users at the time.

ADDING AN ESTIMATE

To add an Estimate click the Add button on the top right hand side of the page, or select Estimates from the Add Information drop down on the Summary Page of the workers file.

The Add Estimate page is split into sections to assist.

ESTIMATE SECTION

This section captures the worker details, date of injury and well as the date you are completing the estimate. The date will always default to today, however this field can be changed. An Estimate Review date can also be entered which will generate a Task before the review is due.

ESTIMATED PAYMENTS

The Estimated Payment section will differ between each jurisdiction, and this are where you enter the relevant estimate amounts against each payment type. These fields are based on information required by the regulator. If you are unsure of what information to enter in each field, consult the guidelines/manuals relevant to that jurisdiction.

ATTACHMENTS

To add an attachment with this Estimate, simply drag and drop the attachment into the grey bar drop zone, or click on the Choose File button to select an attachment from a saved location.

Once complete, click on the Save button to enter the Estimate details. You will then be directed back to the Estimate page.
