How do I connect the eSIM to a mobile network? (iOS Devices)

Updated over 3 months ago

You have already installed the eSIM, next you need to activate it. Follow the activation instructions in the app and make sure all steps are completed:

  1. In Cellular (or Mobile Data plans), click on your Secondary line (Hubby eSIM)

  2. Toggle it ON to turn on the eSIM

  3. Select the Hubby eSIM for Cellular (or Mobile) Data

  4. Enable Data Roaming for your Hubby eSIM

  5. Select your Primary line for calls and text messages

  6. Your eSIM should automatically connect to a supported mobile network (top right corner on your device)

  7. In the app, the eSIM you just connected will have the ‘🟢Active’ status.

Important:

It may take up to 15 minutes for the status in the app to change to ‘🟢Active’ and for your first data usage to reflect on the eSIM’s data meter in the app.

If your eSIM is still not connecting, or if the eSIM status on the app is ‘🟢Installed’ but ‘🔴Not Active’, then please try these one of these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Turn Airplane mode ON and OFF

  2. Turn Data Roaming OFF then back ON

  3. Turn your Secondary line (Hubby eSIM) OFF and then back ON

  4. Restart your device

Neither of the steps are still not working for you? Please send us a message in our Support Chat and we will be happy to help!
