Automatic installation (iOS 16 and newer)
In the app:
Click the ‘Install eSIM’ button, which will initiate the automatic installation process. Please make sure you are connected to a strong internet connection before you proceed, otherwise, the installation process will not be successful.
After the installation process is complete, your eSIM will show status ‘🟢Installed’
On your device:
When your device starts the process, you will be asked to allow your carrier to set up an eSIM – please allow it by clicking ‘Yes’.
After a few moments, once your device successfully completes the process, you will be able to find your eSIM in:
Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data) > Cellular (or Mobile Data) Plans > Secondary
(usually just below your Primary plan).
Manual installation (iOS 15 and later)
In the app:
Click on the ‘Install eSIM’ button to access the manual installation guide.
Copy the Activation code from the installation guide.
After successfully setting up, your eSIM will show status ‘🟢Installed’.
On your device:
Go to Settings
Cellular (or Mobile Data)
Click ‘Add Cellular plan’ or ‘Add Mobile Data Plan’
Select ‘Enter Details Manually’, paste the Activation code and click OK
Your eSIM will be under your Cellular Data or Mobile Data Plans (usually just below your Primary plan)
Important:
If you have not arrived at your destination, please toggle off the Secondary line. You will not be able to connect or use data from the eSIM until you have arrived and connected to the local provider at your destination.
