How do I check if my phone supports eSIM?

Updated over 3 months ago

Hubby eSIM is supported on a wide range of eSIM-compatible smartphones, particularly those released after 2018:

- iOS Models: iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, or later;

- Android models: Samsung Galaxy S20, Google Pixel 2 series, Xiaomi 12 Pro or later.

You can browse our eSIM-compatible phones list that we regularly update and see if you’ll find your device, or simply, your phone model is eSIM compatible if:

  1. It supports eSIM

  2. If it is not carrier-locked

  3. If it is not region-locked

  4. If in Cellular (or Mobile Data) Plans (for iPhones) and SIM manager (for Samsung) you see the option to add an eSIM, and if in SIMs (for Google Pixel), when adding a SIM, you see the following ‘To add another SIM, set up a new eSIM.’

Still not sure? Contact your provider or refer to official resources from your device manufacturer to confirm if your phone supports eSIM.
