Create and manage your voices

Create a voice for narration or characters to control how your video sounds.

Voices control how your video is delivered — for narration, dialogue, and character speech.

This is especially useful for ads, explainers, and UGC-style videos where tone and delivery matter.

How to create a voice

  1. Go to the Create tab

  2. Scroll to the ingredients rail

  3. Either:

    • Click the + button on the right

    • Or select Voices and click + New Voice

  4. Choose how to add your voice:

    • Record audio

    • Upload a file

  5. Preview your voice sample

  6. Name your voice

  7. Save

Add your audio

You can either record or upload a voice sample.

Record a voice

  • Speak naturally for at least 15 seconds

  • Use clear audio with minimal background noise

Upload a file

  • Supported formats: .wav or .mp4

  • Max file size: 10MB

  • Use a recording with a single speaker and clear audio

How to use your voice

Once saved, your voice can be used:

  • As a narrator

  • For character dialogue

You can select it when creating your video or assigning voices to characters.

Manage your Voice

  1. Go to the Create tab

  2. Select the Voice from the ingredients rail

  3. Click the ... (more options) menu

From here you can:

  • Use in video

Tips

  • Preview your voice before saving to make sure it sounds right

  • Longer, clearer recordings improve quality

  • Avoid background noise or music

  • Keep voice names simple so they’re easy to find

Notes

  • Each voice is created from a single recording

  • To make changes, create a new voice with a new sample
